Steiner Ranch

STEINER RANCH…MLS area RN…Five minutes from the intersection of 620 & 2222 on 620. Steiner still has a few neighborhoods where new homes are still being built. The preowned homes were built from the 90’s to the present.  A large number of builders have  built in Steiner, some good, some not so good.
If you want a greenbelt lot, this is a good spot to start. Many of the homes don’t have neighbors behind, or they are a good distance away from you.
Amenities…tons… almost anything you can think of. Multiple pools, and ball fields, hiking and jogging trails galore. You can even put your boat in the water at the county boat ramp. The University of Texas Golf Club is in the neighborhood too. You have four Leander District schools in the neighborhood. Stop in at the Steiner Ranch Steak House and enjoy great views with your meal, or at Cups and Cones for coffee or ice cream. There are two main retail shopping areas in Steiner itself with a wide variety of neighborhood stores.
Steiner in general is layed out with one long main street running from 620 all the way down to the lake. And then off this main street on either side, are multiple different neighborhoods. As you drive thru Steiner you can see the architecture change from the 90’s homes to the more recent builds.
As you get closer to the lake you will have some very expensive homes. Steiner has a wide price band. You start in the 230ish range and go all the way up to 1 million plus. But most of the homes will be in the 300-550k price band. Everything from Mediterranean Style with stucco and tile roofs near the golf course, to traditional red brick two stories. Steiner is a large neighborhood, so there are usually a number of homes on the market.
